KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Northwestern is sitting in 13th place in the 14-team Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships, which are being hosted by the University of Tennessee at the Cherokee Country Club.
The good news for the Wildcats is that they are within three strokes of ninth-place Penn State and SMU, and with a good round on Sunday's final day, could move up several spots.
Sophomore Katie Trachok (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) and junior Alice Kim (Los Angeles, Calif./Brentwood) are tied for 32nd place with 11-over 153's. Trachok led the Wildcats with a 3-over 74 on Saturday.
