Men's and Women's Programs Make Golf Digest's Top-20 List

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern University's men's and women's golf programs have been honored by Golf Digest on the magazine's list of best colleges in the nation for golf.

Both men's and women's programs are ranked 18th nationally. The men are ranked first among Big Ten schools; the women are ranked second, one spot behind Michigan.

Both programs open their fall season this weekend: the men play at the Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque, N.M., on Friday and Saturday, and the women play at the Mary Fossum Invitational in East Lansing, Mich., on Saturday and Sunday.
