Led By Ina Kim, Wildcats In Eighth Place at "Mo"morial

BRYAN, Texas -- Led by senior Ina Kim (Encino, Calif./Harvard-Westlake), Northwestern posted the fourth-best second-round team score at the 12th Annual Texas A&M "Mo"morial Invitational and now sits in eighth place, just two strokes behind sixth-place Wisconsin and one stroke behind UTEP. The final round is set for Tuesday morning.

Kim carded a 9-over 81 on the first 18 holes, but regained her form from last fall with a 2-over 74 on the second 18. She was playing even-par golf until her final hole when she finished with a double-bogey on the par-3 No. 5 hole. Kim is in seventh place, seven strokes behind Illinois State's Samantha Richdale.

Sophomore Alice Kim (Los Angeles, Calif./Brentwood) shot rounds of 80 and 79 and is in 26th place at 15-over. Kelly Robb (Concord, Mass./Middlesex School), another sophomore, is 45th with a 20-over 164 (83-81).

The host school Aggies lead the team competition by nine strokes over SMU.
