EVANSTON, Ill. - This past weekend, senior Lauren Van Gieson (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) became Northwestern's all-time women's saber career wins leader when she posted a 2-1 record against Air Force.
Van Gieson now stands at 248 wins and 97 losses, eclipsing the previous mark of 247 wins by Carly Wells.
The Wildcats will travel to the Temple Duals next weekend, where they will have three dual matches against St. John's University, Pennsylvania and Columbia.
