EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern swept nine dual matches over the weekend against Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Wisconsin-Madison, Chicago, Bowling Green, Purdue, Cleveland State, and Oberlin. The Wildcats won four matches Saturday before closing out the weekend with five more wins on Sunday.
"I'm very pleased with how we fenced this weekend," Head Coach Laurie Schiller said. "Out of a possible 270 bouts, I think we probably only lost maybe 20."
