EVANSTON, Ill. -- Junior Brad Napper (Dallas, Texas/Jesuit College Prep) has been named to the Soccer America and College Soccer News Teams of the Week after scoring a pair of goals to help extend Northwestern's current winning streak to four matches.

The central defender scored a second-half, game-tying goal against Loyola last Wednesday before netting the overtime match-winner Sunday against Big Ten foe Michigan.

Napper is NU's third selection to the Soccer America Team of the Week, joining Will Nicholas (Orefield, Pa./Parkland) and Justin Pines (Media, Pa./Strath Haven). He is NU's first selection to the College Soccer News squad.

Northwestern (10-3-2, 2-1-1 Big Ten) is ranked 25th in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and College Soccer News polls. The national rankings are the first in the program's history.
