EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern (7-11, 2-6 Big Ten) fell to Indiana in a marathon, five-game match 3-2 (29-31, 30-22, 30-28, 27-30, 15-17). Senior captain Drew Robertson (Long Beach, Calif/Long Beach Poly) recorded her first triple-double of the year -- 11 kills, 27 digs, and 57 assists -- after posting three-consecutive double-double performances against Iowa, Minnesota and Purdue.

The first game was close as they come, with both teams moving into a brief overtime before Indiana won 31-29. NU came roaring back to win the next two games 30-22 and 30-28 with freshman Lindsay Anderson (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) leading the offense with five kills in both games. Anderson finished the match with a team-leading 19 kills, along with five digs.

NU dropped games fou 30-27, pushing the match to a decisive game five. Similar to the opening game, the two teams moved into overtime in the fifth game, as NU fell 17-15.

Junior co-captain Christie Gardner (West Bend, Wis./West Bend) recorded 31 digs, while freshman middle blocker Brittney Aldridge (Hampshire, Ill./Hampshire) had 6 block assists.
