EVANSTON, Ill. -- Sophomore Meghan Small (Macungie, Pa./Moravian Academy) earned this season's first Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor by scoring both of Northwestern's goals in Sunday's 2-1 overtime win over James Madison.
Small tied the game with her first goal in the second half against the Dukes before ending the game 10 minutes into the first overtime period with her second score.
The award is the first of Small's career. Last month she earned her second invitation to the USFHA Women's A Camp to be held in January.
NU as a team received one Big Ten POW award last season.
