EVANSTON, Ill. - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) named its 2004 Academic Squad, and a pair of Northwestern players were among the 123 honorees at the Division I level -- senior Courtney Koester and junior Donna McCann.
The Bucknell women's lacrosse team had 10 student-athletes named to the 2004 IWLCA Honor Roll, helping them earn Merit Squad status along with Duke (who led all Division I schools with a team GPA of 3.46) and Connecticut. Twenty-two other institutions earned Academic Squad status, signifying a collective team GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Duquesne's Kristina Rohall was the IWLCA Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
