EVANSTON, Ill. -- Wildcat Women's Sport Weekend, sponsored by the N Club and Center Court, takes place Thursday, April 29 - Sunday, May 2. This spring we celebrate the talent of our women's sports teams with several events. The weekend's events include:
Thursday, April 29
Big Ten Women's Tennis Championships -- All Day @ the Vandy Christie Tennis Center (rain site: Combe Indoor Tennis Center)
Friday, April 30
Big Ten Women's Tennis Championships -- All Day
Lacrosse vs. Ohio U. - 4 pm @ the Leonard B. Thomas Sports Complex
Saturday, May 1
Big Ten Women's Tennis Championships -- 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Sunday, May 2
Big Ten Women's Tennis Championships -- Noon
Softball vs. Michigan (DH) -- Noon and 2 pm @ Sharon J. Drysdale Field (mini-clinic following the games)
Lacrosse vs. Denver - 1 p.m.
Following the softball games on Sunday, May 2, a free softball mini-clinic with the players and coaches will take place. Learn some of the skills that the Northwestern players practice every day. Kids in 8th grade and under only. Please RSVP by calling (847) 491-7504.
All events are FREE for the weekend. There will be special promotions all weekend long, including T-shirt giveaways and $1 hot dogs at softball and lacrosse games where concessions are available. This is a weekend Wildcat fans don't want to miss! For more information, call (847) 491-7504.
