EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern begins its spring football season today (Tuesday, March 30) with a 4 p.m. practice in Trienens Hall. The spring season will conclude Saturday, April 24 with the annual Spring Game, which is presented by Yellow Book USA.
The Wildcats are returning 17 offensive and defensive starters, as well as all of their special teams players from last year's squad, which finished the regular season 6-6 and earned a berth in the Motor City Bowl.
Northwestern opens the 2004 season on Thursday, Sept. 2 at TCU.
