EVANSTON, Ill.--Northwestern's fifth-ranked women's fencing team will not compete at the Midwest Duals on Feb. 21, head coach Laurie Schiller announced.
The event moved to Purdue from Wisconsin after its club team failed to obtain a site for the competition.
Following the USFA Junior Olympic Championships this weekend, the Wildcats will be off until they take part in the Midwest Fencing Championships March 6-7 at Notre Dame.
