FRANKLIN, Ind. -- Led by freshman Kelly Robb (Concord, Mass./Middlesex School), Northwestern's 28th-ranked women's golf team is sitting in fourth place at 19-over (302-293=595) after the first two rounds of the Shoot-out at the Legends. Kent State leads the tournament with a 2-over 578 (289-289). Indiana and TCU are in second and third place.
Robb is 1-over (70-75=145) and tied for sixth place after 36 holes. She is two strokes off the lead, which is held by Indiana's Danah Ford (73-70=143). Four players shot even par.
Northwestern's Ina Kim (Encino, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) is tied for 25th place after shooting a 1-under 71 in the second round. She is 5-over (78-71=149) for the first two rounds.
Freshman Alice Kim (Los Angeles, Calif./Brentwood) is 34th after firing a 7-over 151 (78-73). Sisters Mary Ellen Grzebien and Lauren Grzebien (Saunderstown, R.I./Narragansett) are in 47th and 54th place, respectively, with scores of 10-over (80-74=154) and 12-over (76-80=156).
