EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's Erica Rose finished 11th in the Open Water 10K at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain with a time of 2:02:02.5 Wednesday morning.
Rose, who will be a senior in the fall, posted the best time for the U.S. women's team.
Italy's Viola Valli claimed the gold with a time of 1:59:49.9.
