Wildcats' Game Versus Miami (Ohio) Moved to 11 a.m. to Accommodate Television Broadcast

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's nonconference home game versus Miami (Ohio) University on Saturday, Sept. 13 will kick off at 11 a.m. CT to accommodate an ESPN Plus television broadcast. The game was previously scheduled to start at noon.

Television clearances for the game will be announced at a later date. The contest, however, is expected to be part of ESPN's 2003 GamePlan football package.

Miami, led by quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Ben Roethlisberger, is the alma mater of Northwestern head coach Randy Walker. Walker also coached at Miami, where he notched a school-most 59 victories (1990-98). The Wildcats and RedHawks last met in the 1999 season opener, Walker's first game as Northwestern's head coach.
