BRADENTON, Fla. - Northwestern's rematch against Northeastern was canceled because of inclement weather Sunday afternoon in Bradenton, Fla. The Wildcats were scheduled to take on the Huskies at 10:30 Sunday morning, but rainy weather prevented the teams from taking the field. The contest will not be rescheduled.
The Wildcats are 1-1 since arriving in Florida with a 2-1 loss to Northeastern and a 3-0 win over Army. Both games were played yesterday at Academy Park in Bradenton. NU is 7-6 on the year.
NU is next in action, tomorrow, when it travels to Tampa to play South Florida at Red McEwen Field. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
