Tonight's Game
Northwestern is going to try and do something they have not done all year-win on the road. Just like Illinois did at Michigan State on Monday, the Wildcats will enter Assembly Hall hoping to knock off the Illini, who have won 10 of 13 at home this season. NU is 0-10 away from Welsh-Ryan Arena.

NU has been led by a surging Suzanne Morrison, who in the last three games is averaging 15.3 points per game, which is more than 10 points higher than her season per-game average of 5.1.

Along with Morrison, classmate Sarah Kwasinski has also stepped up her game recently. Against Indiana last Thursday, Kwasinski grabbed 12 boards, blocked six shots, nabbed three steals and had three assists, while scoring eight points.

NU's recent trend actually started five games ago when the Wildcats went to Minnesota. In the five games since, NU has outscored its opponents 290-289 and dished out 98 assists-including 39 of its last 40 baskets-compared to 55 for the opponents. While the 'Cats are behind in the rebounding battle, 32.4-to-31.8, NU is shooting 48 percent (112-for-233) from the floor while the opposition is shooting 36 percent (99-for-277).
