Thursday night's Game
Thursday night is Senior Night at Welsh-Ryan Arena and the Northwestern coaching staff would like to thank the 2003 senior class for their hard work and dedication to the Wildcat women's basketball program throughout the years. The 2003 seniors are as follows: Emily Butler, Nicole Daniels, Leslie Dolland, Ashley Messenger, Anya Walker and Natalie Will.

Tonight is also fan appreciation night at Welsh-Ryan Arena, T-shirts will be given to the first 300 people through the door, and prizes will be given out throughout the game.

Speaking of prizes, NU was close to delivering itself a prize last Thursday against No. 17/18 Minnesota. With the 'Cats down three (64-61) with 13.5 seconds left in the game, the Gophers defense prevented a Wildcat three-point attempt at the buzzer to preserve the three-point win.

Although NU lost, the Wildcat defense held the nation's fourth-ranked offense to 64 points, 17 below its average.

On the offensive end, NU scored more than 60 points for the second straight game. The 'Cats were led by Suzanne Morrison's 17 points as four Wildcats reached double figures for just the second time this season.
