EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's men's tennis team will give fans a glimpse of what's to come this season Friday at the Purple and White scrimmage. Action gets underway at 6 p.m. at the Combe Tennis Center.
The event, originally slated to be an alumni exhibition, was changed because of schedule conflicts of former NU players. Doug Bohaboy, Alex Witt and Marc Silva, among others, were scheduled to make the trip but could not due to their participation in ATP events.
The 'Cats will be broken into two groups of four, allowing for two doubles matches followed by four singles matches. Lineups will be announced Friday.
This will be the Wildcats' only home event of the fall. They return to Combe on Jan. 18 when they will face Denver.
