Senior Lindsey Millard (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day) was selected to play in the 2002 NFHCA Division I North/South Senior All-Star Game selected by NFHCA officials today. Millard is one of only four Big Ten field hockey players selected to play in the game.
Millard has been a mainstay on the Wildcat defense, starting all 15 games in the backfield. Her defensive prowess has proven to be a powerful asset as NU has taken two Top-5 teams down to the wire. Along with her ability on the defensive side of the ball, Millard is a proven entity on the Wildcat corner team. So far this season, Millard has scored three goals on three shots and recorded two assists.
The 2002 Senior All-Star game will be held on Saturday, November 23, on the campus of the University of Louisville.
