On Wednesday, October 16, Northwestern football coach Randy Walker will drop by to take your questions on the Wildcats Saturday matchup with No. 20 Penn State.

Walker became Northwestern University's head football coach on January 20, 1999, and in just his second season, directed a stunning turnaround in the Wildcats' football fortunes. After a 3-8 season in his inaugural campaign, Walker engineered a complete overhaul of the Wildcat offense and the result was an 8-4 record, an Alamo Bowl berth and a share of the 2000 Big Ten championship.

Walker was recognized for his efforts in 2000 by both his peers and the media, as he was named Dave McClain Big Ten Coach of the Year and the Region 3 Coach of the Year by the AFCA.

Walker coached nine years (1990-98) at Miami (Ohio), his alma mater, before taking over for Gary Barnett at Northwestern. He left Miami as the school's winningest coach (59-35-5).

Walker won't be stopping by until 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, but you can send your questions now and we will save them for his arrival.
