EVANSTON, Ill. - The 2002 "Wildcat Women in Sport Weekend," sponsored by the N Club, will take place this weekend (October 18-20).
This season, we celebrate the talent of our women's sports teams with several events. In addition to our numerous women's sporting events, on Saturday there will be a soccer/basketball clinic prior to the Big Ten women's volleyball match between the 'Cats and Michigan State.
Here is a quick summary of this weekend's events:
Friday, October 18
4 p.m. -- Soccer vs. Michigan State, Lakeside Field
7 p.m. -- Volleyball vs. Michigan, Welsh-Ryan Arena
Saturday, October 19
4-6 p.m. -- Soccer/Basketball clinic
soccer will be in the Trienens Indoor Facility, which is connected to the Nicolet Football Center next to McGaw Hall; basketball will be in the McGaw Hall Fieldhouse
7 p.m. -- Volleyball vs. Michigan State, Welsh-Ryan Arena
Sunday, October 20
12:30 p.m. -- Soccer vs. Michigan, Lakeside Field
Saturday, Oct. 19 - Sunday, Oct. 20
Fencing -- 25th annual USFA Remenyik Open, Patten Gym
