FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Northwestern's women's golf team opened its season Monday at the Mason Rudolph Championships hosted by Vanderbilt. With Monday's first two rounds completed, NU sits in 11th place after rounds of 320 and 309 at the par-72 Legends Club of Tennessee. Arizona leads the 14-team event, four shots ahead of the host Commodores.
Senior Elizabeth Burden (Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest) turned in NU's best individual round, with an 8-over-par 152. She is currently tied for 17th on the individual leaderboard.
