State College, Pa. - Riding a 24-match Big Ten win streak, Northwestern rolled to a 7-0 win over Penn State today at the Penn State Tennis Center. The 'Cats improved to 17-5 overall and 9-0 in conference play. Penn State fell to 6-12 overall and 1-8 in the Big Ten.
The 'Cats took a 1-0 lead after winning two of the three doubles matches. Northwestern swept the singles, winning four in straight sets.
Northwestern closes out the 2002 regular season with a match at Ohio State Sunday at 11 a.m.
