EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern University men's basketball coach Bill Carmody announced the signing of senior T.J. Parker (Lisle, Ill./Lisle) to a National Letter of Intent. Parker will be eligible to join the Wildcat program for the 2002-03 season.
"We are excited about the addition of T.J.," said Carmody. "He is a fundamentally sound basketball player who also boasts great speed. He also has that special quality of lifting up his teammates and making them better players. He is a great kid, and we're happy to be adding him to our program."
Parker is the third player signed by the Wildcats this season. During the early signing period in November, Northwestern signed Jimmy Maley (Western Springs, Ill./Lyons Township) and Evan Seacat (Paoli, Ind./Paoli).
