EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore Angela McMahon was one of just four women nationally to receive Honorable Mention for Player of the Week honors by insidelacrosse.com for this week after her stellar play from NU's opening weekend.
The Wildcats' tri-captain scored four goals and had an assist in the season-opening, 15-2 win over Marist on March 8, then followed that up with a goal and an assist in a 13-6 loss to Richmond on March 10.
Princeton's Theresa Sherry was insidelacrosse.com's Player of the Week. In addition to McMahon, the American Lacrosse Conference also nabbed another Honorable Mention spot in Penn State's Katie Jeschke.
