EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's men's swimming and diving team will conclude a sparse dual meet season when they travel to Iowa for a two-day competition.
NU (5-1, 1-1 Big Ten) has not faced a team since mid-January, when they earned a solid victory, 143-93, over Illinois-Chicago.
Iowa is 2-4 overall and 0-4 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes are coming off a close, 165-133, win over Missouri last weekend.
The action in Iowa City will begin Friday night at 7 p.m. and conclude with the final session beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
Seven duals, the NU Relays and the NU Invitational is the shortest regular season schedule the 'Cats have had since the 1987-88 season. But the real test will come in two weeks, when Big Ten teams converge on Bloomington, Ind., for the conference championships.
