Linebacker Kevin Bentley Set to Play in 64th Annual Blue-Gray Game

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Senior linebacker Kevin Bentley, a second-team All-Big Ten selection, is playing in the 64th Annual Blue-Gray Game on Christmas Day. The game, which begins at 11 a.m. CST, is being televised nationally by ABC.

Bentley led the Wildcats in numerous defensive categories, including total tackles (147), solo tackles (82), assisted tackles (65), tackles for loss (12) and fumble recoveries (3).

Bentley will play for the Blue squad, which is being coached by Arizona State head coach Dirk Koetter.

This is the first all-star game of the 2001-02 season. Other Wildcats who have committed to postseason all-star games include linebacker Napoleon Harris, who is playing in next month's Senior Bowl. In addition, quarterback Zak Kustok and offensive tackle Mike Souza are participating in the Hula Bowl/Maui Classic. More all-star commitments will be announced as they become available.
