Men's Basketball Signs Two Midwest Players

Nov. 14, 2001

EVANSTON, Ill.--Northwestern University men's basketball coach Bill Carmody announced the signing of seniors Jimmy Maley (Western Springs, Ill./Lyons Township) and Evan Seacat (Paoli, Ind./Paoli) to National Letters of Intent. Both players will be eligible to join the Wildcat program for the 2002-03 season.

"We're really excited about getting Jimmy and Evan," said Carmody. "They are both fundamentally sound-they dribble well, pass well, and shoot well. They are also the kind of players who will improve quickly as they gain strength and experience.
