Sept. 26, 2001

EVANSTON, Ill. - Former Northwestern golf standouts Luke Donald and Jess Daley are set to tee it up this weekend in Texas at the PGA of America's Texas Open at LaCantera Golf Club (par 70-6,905 yard course) in San Antonio.

Donald is making his fifth PGA-sanctioned event appearance since turning pro in mid-August. His best finish came two weeks ago at the Canadian Open where he finished 18th. Daley is competing in his first PGA event, although he did qualify for the 2001 U.S. Open at Southern Hills and played the Canadian tour this past summer.
