Evanston, Ill. - The NCAA announced the selections for the 2001 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships this afternoon and the Wildcats name was left out of the field of 64. The `Cats will finish the season 13-9 overall and 6-4 in the Big Ten, and made a semi-final run in the conference tournament. Brad Erickson is the only NU player not returning next season as the senior captain will graduate this spring. Erickson finishes his career as a Wildcat with a 70-61 overall record and two All-Big Ten honors.
