Women Own Top Seed, Men No. 3 at Big Ten Tennis Championships

Evanston, Ill. - EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference announced the draws for the men's and women's tennis championships today. The four-day tournament runs from April 26-29. The ninth-ranked Wildcat women received the top spot, and will attempt to three-peat as conference champions. They will face the winner of the Minnesota/Purdue match Friday at 10 a.m., at the Stickney Tennis Center in Columbus, Ohio. The semifinal match will be played at noon on Saturday and the championship is scheduled for noon on Sunday.

The 47th-ranked men will face the winner of the Purdue/Penn State match at 10 a.m. Friday. The men's championships are bing held at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Semifinals will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, and the championship match at noon on Sunday.
