EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore Kellan O'Connor swam a 2:00.99 in prelims of the 200 butterfly on Thursday to qualify for the consolation final at the U.S. Spring Swimming Nationals in Austin, Texas. O'Connor, who earned All-American honors with a fifth-place at the NCAA Championships the previous week, improved his time to 2:00.43 in the final to finish 10th. Freshman Mark Hamming also swam the 200-meter butterfly, clocking 2:05.37 for 35th place.
