Evanston, Ill. - The 13th-ranked Northwestern women's golf team heads to Bradenton, Fla., to compete in the Waterlefe Invitational hosted by the University of South Florida. The tournament will take place Monday and Tuesday at the Waterlefe Golf and River Country Club (par-72).
Golfers will play 36 holes on Monday with two shotgun starts at 8 a.m and 1:30 p.m. There will be 18 holes on Tuesday with another shotgun start at 8 a.m.
Last year, the Wildcats placed third in the invite with three `Cats tying for 12th-place.
Participating schools: Arkansas-Little Rock, Campbell, Central Florida, College of Charleston, East Carolina, Florida International, Georgia State. Iowa, Louisville, Miami, UNC-Greensboro, Northwestern, Sam Houston State, South Florida, Southern Mississippi, Tulane.
