Women's Golf to Play in Eighth Annual "Mo" Morial Tournament

Evanston, Ill. - The Northwestern women's golf squad heads back to Texas this weekend to participate in the eighth annual "Mo" Morial tournament, hosted by Texas A&M University. For the second time in its eight year history, the tournament is being held at Pine Forest Country Club (par-72, 6,125 yards) in Houston, Texas. The format will consist of 54-hole stroke play with 32 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Junior Emily Gilley (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) captured the individual title last year with rounds of 74-77-73=224, as the Wildcats team finished in third place.

NU is currently ranked 14th by Golfweek.com and Golf World. Gilley and Elizabeth Burden (Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest) are individually ranked 51st and 97th, respectively.
