EVANSTON, ILL. - Northwestern wrestling assistant coach Lindsey Durlacher was chosen by USA Wrestling to compete in the Star of St. Petersburg dual vs. the Russian National team on Feb. 17 and take part in the Sweden Cup on Feb. 24. He will also compete in a dual match with the Swedish National Team on Feb. 22.
Durlacher is in his first year as an assistant coach at Northwestern under Tim Cysewski. Durlacher joined the Wildcats after spending one year as an assistant coach at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
As an athlete at Illinois, he was a four-time NCAA national qualifier and two-time World Maccabiah Games champion. He was the 1997 NCAA runner-up and finished the 1996 NCAA tournament in fourth place.
