The Northwestern women's tennis squad (3-0) is currently ranked 16th in the nation, according to the new WingspanBank.com poll which is voted on by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). NU has had early wins over DePaul (9-0), No. 46 BYU (5-2) and Utah (7-0) this season.
This weekend the Wildcats will split the team up, as some players will travel to Southern Methodist University in Dallas for the ITA Invitational Nationals. The others head north to take on No. 61 Marquette in Milwaukee.
