Evanston, Ill. - After two early wins, the Northwestern men's tennis team is ranked 41st in the lastest WingspanBank.com poll which is voted on by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). That puts the Wildcats 10 spots higher than their previous ranking. The Wildcats were helped by an upset victory over then-No. 37 Louisville, 5-2.
This weekend the `Cats travel west to senior Brad Erickson's hometown of Eugene, Ore. for a pair of duals. On Saturday, they will face No. 33 Boise State at 2 p.m. CT and on Sunday No. 67 Oregon will host the Wildcats at noon CT.
