Ryan Field Named College Football Field of the Year

EVANSTON, Ill. - Ryan Field was named the 2000 College Football "Field of the Year" by the Sports Turf Managers Association. Eric Adkins, agronomist for the Athletic Department, was presented a plaque recognizing the excellence of Ryan Field's grass playing surface.

"The people I work with are some of the hardest working people in the Big Ten and in the nation, it is a great honor to win this award," said Adkins.
