Tony Swanson Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

EVANSTON, Ill. - Tony Swanson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids) earned Big Ten Swimmer of the Week honors on Dec. 27. Swanson led his team to a win against Sacred Heart (P.R.) and Puerto Rico on Dec. 19 in San Juan. He took home victories in the 200 individual medley and the 100 freestyle. Swanson also swam the second leg of the winning 200 freestyle relay team.
