EVANSTON, Ill. - Jessica Yates was named to the 2000 AstroTurf/NFHCA Division I Regional All-America first team by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Yates earned second team honors the previous two seasons.
This year, Yates became Northwestern's all-time career saves leader, as she posted 133 saves to increase her career total to 515. She also ended the season with a career best in both goals against average (1.80) and save percentage (.801).
Yates is sixth on Northwestern's career shutout list (7.5) and seventh in career save percentage (.780).
