EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place at the Lady Northern Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn. The tournament was played at the Les Bolstad golf course, a par-72, 5,979-yard course.
Four Wildcats finished in the top 15 with senior Christie Hermes leading the way finishing ninth. Hermes shot rounds of 78-74-75=227. Freshman Lauren Grzebien finished in a tie for 10th shooting rounds of 78-77-73=228.
Sophomore Elizabeth Burden and freshman Hana Kim both finished in a tie for 15th. Burden shot rounds of 79-76-75=230 while Kim fired rounds of 79-74-77=230.
Junior Emily Gilley finished in a tie for 37th shooting rounds of 83-75-78=236.
