Northwestern Golfer Luke Donald Advances to Semifinals at U.S. Amateur

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern golfer Luke Donald advanced to the semifinals of match play at the 100th U.S. Amateur Championship, defeating three-time All-American Bryce Molder (Conway, Ariz.) 1 up. Donald used a birdie on the 15th hole to tie the match and another on the 17th hole to go 1 up.

Donald tees off tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. CT against James Driscoll (Brookline, Mass.).
