EVANSTON, Ill. - Thirteen regular season home games highlight the 2000-01 Northwestern women's basketball schedule announced today by the Northwestern athletic department.
Under the direction of second-year head coach June Olkowski, the Wildcats return four starters and nine letterwinners from last season. Northwestern opens the regular season November 20 at Northern Illinois, and starts the Big Ten portion of the schedule on December 28 against Iowa in Iowa City.
Northwestern will once again host the Roger L. White Invitational on December 1-2. This year's tournamanet will feature the University of Pennsylvania, UNLV and Northeastern.
