EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern University senior forward Tami Sears has been added to the 2000 Big Ten Foreign Tour team roster. Sears joins 10 other women from the Big Ten for the five-game tour.
The team, under the direction of Michigan head coach Sue Guevara, departs today for a five-game campaign that will include stops in Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
Two roster changes were made prior to the team's departure. Sears replaced Indiana forward Jamie Gathing, while Michigan's Heather Oesterle joined the squad in place of teammate LeeAnn Bies.
Sears was the Wildcats' leading scorer and rebounder a year ago, averaging 11.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
