Todd Martin to Return to Northwestern July 28

EVANSTON, Ill. - U.S. Davis Cup team member and former Northwestern University tennis player Todd Martin will host a free tennis clinic on Friday, July 28, at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center courts on the Northwestern campus in Evanston. The clinic is open to the public and will run from 1-3 p.m.

a Martin's clinic is in conjunction with the Northwestern Tennis Camp, headed by Wildcat tennis coaches Paul Torricelli and Claire Pollard.

Martin was a 1999 finalist in the U.S. Open, and this weekend he played on the Davis Cup team that fell to Spain in the semifinal round. While at Northwestern, Martin helped guide the 'Cats to a Big Ten title in 1990 and their first-ever berth to the elite 16-team NCAA Tournament.
