EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern State (14-8) scored all five of its runs in the first three innings and was able to hold off Northwestern (6-9), 5-3, at the Hillenbrand Invitational. Sophomore Erin Jancic (Houston, Texas/Alief Elsik) went 3-for-4 with an RBI and junior Brooke Siebel (Brentwood, Tenn./Father Ryan) went 2-for-3 in her return to the lineup to lead the offense, which outhit the Demons 10-7.
