EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern (5-3) extended its winning streak to five with a 4-0 victory over Iowa in Evansville, Ind. As has been a recurrent theme in the streak, the 'Cats did it with pitching. Sophomore Zach Schara (Madison, Wis./West) followed up a 16 strikeout performance in his last outing with a three-hit shutout against the Hawkeyes to improve his record to 2-0 on the year. Northwestern has posted a 0.88 team ERA during the streak. Junior Joe Hietpas (Appleton, Wis./North) had two hits to pace the offense.
