EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men?s wrestling team opened the 1999-2000 season last weekend at the St. Louis Open held at Forest Park Community College in St. Louis, Mo. In the open division, senior Scott Schatzman (Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway Central) took second at 141 while sophomore John Giacche (Flemington, N.J./Blair Academy) and senior Tom Ciezki (Evergreen Park, Ill./St. Laurence) placed third at 133 and 184 pounds, respectively. In the freshman/sophomore division, Ryan Cumbee (Frankfort, Ill./Providence) placed third at 149 while Ryan Kane (Temecula, Calif./Temecula Valley) took fourth at 165.
