EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's volleyball team fell to Ohio State, 3-0, Friday night in Columbus, Ohio. The loss dropped the Wildcats to 2-19 (0-11 Big Ten).
Game scores were 15-5, 15-5, 15-7.
It was a tough night for NU, which hit just .065 while OSU hit .330. Carmen Burbach led the offense with eight kills, while Jennifer Zagorski had eight digs and Kelli Meyer had 25 assists.
For Ohio State, Jen Flynn had 14 kills and five digs, while Katie Virtue had 40 assists.
Northwestern is back in action Saturday night, meeting No. 1 Penn State at 7 p.m.
